Children inspire me! Look at this precious letter written by a little girl to Derrick Coleman of the Seattle Seahawks and be inspired! God is eternally inviting us to a Philippians 4:13 outlook on life, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” Sometimes we just need to be reminded that there is one in our corner who believes in us and exhorts us like not other, “Yes You Can!”. Only in Christ can we rise from the ashes, only with Christ can we overcome the obstacles, and only through Christ can we live the life that we have always wanted as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Sons and daughters of God rise up and be encouraged for the best news of all remains: God is with us and we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength! Be blessed today and now get our there and give ’em heaven!
Archives for January 2014
No doubt you are familiar with the concept of working smarter rather than harder. I was reminded this week of the brilliance of limiting the number of resolutions this year to something manageable. For me that would be just one! I am convinced I stand my best chance for success with that one resolution/goal being in and around my journey of faith with Christ.
Why? Because I have learned over the years that God’s wisdom is better than mine, God’s strength is stronger than mine, and God’s stamina to stay the course far outweighs even my best, “man up” effort! Have you thought about a single goal this year built in your journey of faith with Christ? Let me encourage you to consider that suggestion. I will guarantee you that you will break through to a whole new level of success, AND that you will grow in knowing God and His purpose and love more than ever before. Try it and let me know how it’s working for you in the days ahead! May 2014 be your most blessed year yet!
